The role is for a Chef de Cuisine - Pool Bar at Hyatt in Lagos, responsible for leading the Pool Bar Kitchen, developing menus, ensuring food quality and safety, and delivering guest satisfaction at poolside dining settings. What they are asking for
- Degree or Diploma in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management or related field.
- HACCP / Food Safety Certification.
- Experience of 7-10 years in progressive culinary roles; at least 3 years as Chef de Cuisine or equivalent in an international hotel, resort, or upscale venue.
- Experience in pool bar dining concepts, outdoor kitchen operations, high-volume casual dining and family-friendly restaurants.
- Knowledge of seafood, grill and barbecue concepts, wood-fired or specialty pizzas, and contemporary Nigerian/African cuisine.
- Skills in menu development, cost management, inventory control, kitchen productivity, and food safety compliance.
