About this role

A full-time Chef de Cuisine to lead the Latin American cuisine at ALTO, Hyatt Regency Lagos Ikeja. The role targets a creative culinary leader who can develop menus, manage kitchen operations and deliver a distinctive rooftop dining experience that blends Latin American flavours with Nigerian influences.

What you would do

• Lead culinary operations for ALTO restaurant and bar.
• Develop seasonal menus and signature dishes for various service periods and events.
• Supervise food preparation, ensure cleanliness, hygiene and food safety standards.
• Manage day-to-day kitchen operations and ensure efficient service execution.
• Collaborate with Food & Beverage team to enhance guest experiences and handle feedback.
• Support promotional events and culinary showcases.

What they are asking for

• Minimum of 2 years experience as Chef de Cuisine or Sous Chef in a hotel or restaurant of good standards (luxury brands preferred).
• Qualification in Kitchen Production or Management is an advantage.
• Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene and occupational health and safety standards.
• Basic computer skills (MS Office) and recipe maintenance system preferred.
• Experience with lifestyle dining concepts and signature dishes is desirable.
• Strong leadership, organizational and guest-focused skills.
