About this role
Proforce Industries Limited seeks a male chef to manage food preparation and kitchen operations for employees and guests at its site in Ogun. This is a full-time role in the Administration/Welfare department within an automobile manufacturing company.
What you would do
- Prepare and cook local and continental meals according to menus.
- Plan daily meals and assist with menu development.
- Ensure meals are prepared and served on schedule.
- Maintain hygiene, food quality and presentation standards.
- Manage ingredients, supplies, stock levels, and kitchen inventory.
- Coordinate with kitchen assistants and other support staff.
What they are asking for
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a chef in corporate, industrial, hotel, or similar environment.
- Certificate or qualification in Catering, Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts or related field (advantage).
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian and continental cuisine; good knowledge of food safety and kitchen sanitation.
- Ability to prepare meals for large numbers; experience with kitchen inventory and portions.
- Good organisational and time-management skills; ability to work under pressure.
- Good communication, reliability, discipline and attention to detail.
