What you would do

• Decontaminate, clean and sterilise surgical instruments following infection control protocols.
• Operate sterilisation equipment such as autoclaves and ultrasonic cleaners, maintaining safety standards.
• Inspect instruments for damage and assemble surgical trays for procedures.
• Manage instrument inventory and ensure timely replacement of worn or outdated equipment.
• Deliver sterile instruments to operating theatres and restock CSSD supplies as needed.
• Safely dispose of biohazardous waste in accordance with regulatory requirements.
