CE FP&A CoE Insights Senior Analyst

About this role

Role focuses on preparing and analysing financial data for Cultural Engagement, ensuring data accuracy across systems and delivering insights, dashboards and reports as a central source of CE finance. Target candidates have strong FP&A and data handling experience and can work with complex datasets, including Anaplan. Based in Lagos under British Council Nigeria.

What you would do

• Perform financial reconciliations across SAP, Anaplan and programme datasets
• Manage the Anaplan grant model and support cost allocations
• Identify data discrepancies and maintain documentation and audit trails
• Prepare standardised financial data packs and perform variance analysis
• Execute standardised financial processes and data governance across CE
• Provide reconciled datasets to support performance reviews and respond to data requests

What they are asking for

• Significant experience in financial data analysis, FP&A or management accounting
• Experience completing reconciliations and supporting monthly reporting cycles
• Ability to work with complex financial datasets across multiple programmes or units
• Experience with Anaplan or similar EPM platforms
• Capability in financial modelling, forecasting and analytics
• Desirable: professional accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent)
