CCTV Operator
About this role
Proforce Limited seeks a vigilant CCTV Operator for its Ogun facility. The role involves monitoring CCTV and related systems, reporting security incidents and maintaining surveillance records within the manufacturing site. It suits candidates with hands-on engineering or security surveillance experience in an industrial environment.
What you would do
- Monitor CCTV cameras and surveillance systems across the premises
- Observe production areas, entrances, exits, warehouses and other critical locations
- Identify and promptly report suspicious activities, security breaches, accidents and unusual occurrences
- Operate CCTV monitors, DVR/NVR and IP cameras
- Maintain incident records
- Retrieve relevant footage when required
What they are asking for
- OND, HND or Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Security Management or related field
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of relevant CCTV/security surveillance experience, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Strong practical knowledge of CCTV systems and related engineering concepts
- Proficiency with CCTV cameras, DVR/NVR systems, IP cameras, monitors and basic networking
- Basic understanding of electrical systems, wiring, power supply and equipment troubleshooting
- Strong observation, attention to detail and incident-reporting skills
