Category Finance Manager - Beverage and Biscuit

About this role

The Category Finance Manager for Beverage and Biscuit is a senior finance partner responsible for the West Africa category, owning the end-to-end P&L and guiding financial planning, analysis and decision support for Marketing, Sales and Supply Chain leaders. The role requires independent delivery, strong stakeholder management and a focus on driving category strategy and financial performance.

What you would do

• Own the category P&L end-to-end including reporting, forecasting and variance management
• Lead category strategy planning, annual contracts and long-range plans
• Partner with Marketing, Sales and Supply Chain to provide financial insights for investments and pricing
• Prepare business cases for investments, innovations and cost initiatives; assess ROI
• Deliver accurate P&L reporting with clear commentary and manage monthly forecast cycle
• Ensure controls/compliance and drive cross-functional projects to improve performance and efficiency

• University degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with 5+ years in finance, preferably in FMCG
• Strong business acumen in consumer goods and local beverage/snacking markets
• Independent and self-directed with excellent stakeholder management
• Excellent communication and ability to present finance to non-finance audiences
• Analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable insights
