What you would do
- Receive payments from customers and other approved sources
- Accept bank transfers and other authorised payment methods
- Issue official receipts for payments received
- Record cash and electronic transactions in the accounting system or cashbook
- Ensure funds are deposited into the designated bank account per procedures
- Safeguard cash, receipts, and financial documents under control
- Maintain filing and documentation of receipts and vouchers
- Assist the Accountant or Finance Officer during month-end close and audits
- Support compliance with financial policies and internal controls
- Support cash-handling procedures as required by the organisation

- Minimum of SSCE
- Advantage if qualified in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field
- Previous experience in cash handling, cashiering, bookkeeping or finance operations is desirable
- Basic knowledge of accounting procedures and financial recordkeeping
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic computer applications
- Strong numerical, organisational and reconciliation skills
- High level of honesty, integrity, accuracy and attention to detail
