Business Transformation & Strategy Officer

About this role

The Concept Group in Lagos is seeking a Business Transformation and Strategy Officer to support the implementation of its vision, mission and strategic priorities. The role involves formulating strategic initiatives and ensuring day-to-day project activities align with these priorities, acting as direct support to the Lead, Transformation across the full project lifecycle.

What you would do

• Develop business case and game plan reports for transformation initiatives
• Conduct gap analysis and root cause analysis to define problem statements and remedial strategies
• Contribute to feasibility studies to assess whether proposed initiatives address identified gaps
• Prepare project initiation documents including business case, SMART goals, scope, stakeholders and RACI matrices, and risk registers
• Maintain the implementation tracker (work breakdown structure) weekly for assigned projects and contribute to project planning and budgeting
• Coordinate vendor scoping, scoring and selection activities, including demo coordination and preparation of vendor scoring reports

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics or related field
• 2 to 4 years' experience in business analysis, project coordination or strategy roles, preferably in financial services or regulated environments
• Working knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile preferred)
• Strong analytical and problem-structuring ability
• Proficiency in Excel and reporting tools; clear written and verbal communication for stakeholder-facing documentation
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams with deadlines
