Business Relationship Manager (Lagos)

About this role

Moniepoint is hiring a Business Relationship Manager (remote, full-time) to drive POS merchant acquisition and manage merchant relationships. The role involves developing sales strategies and identifying growth opportunities, suitable for candidates with 1–2 years of sales experience in banking, fintech or related industries and knowledge of the local financial services sector.

What you would do

• Pursue new business opportunities and acquire customers by selling the bank’s products and services.
• Cross-sell bank products and services.
• Actively seek new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media.
• Create marketing strategies to achieve sales targets.
• Lead daily meetings with the sales team and plan for the week ahead.
• Manage and maintain current business relationships.

What they are asking for

• 1–2 years of in-depth sales experience, preferably in banking, fintech or similar industries.
• Strong understanding of the local financial services industry.
• Experience in marketing/sales within the banking sector with emphasis on onboarding and managing merchants.
• Experience selling lending services and merchant POS devices to corporates is an added advantage.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Tertiary education from a recognised institution.
