Business Planning & Performance Management Manager
About this role
A senior finance and strategy role responsible for leading budgeting, financial planning, and performance analysis to support strategic decisions at Dangote Cement Plc in Lagos. Targeted at candidates with extensive FP&A, budgeting, and performance management experience in large organisations, preferably with manufacturing or FMCG exposure.
What you would do
- Develop and implement budgeting guidelines and provide strategic direction to budget holders
- Lead the budgeting process ensuring accuracy and alignment with objectives
- Review budget submissions for data integrity and key variances
- Consolidate and present the group budget pack for senior leadership approval
- Track budget performance, revenue and expenditures and recommend corrective actions
- Oversee cash flow forecasting, debt optimisation, and internal controls
What they are asking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or related field
- Minimum 10 years of progressive FP&A, budgeting or performance management experience
- At least 5 years in a senior finance or strategy role with budgeting and reporting
- Industry experience in manufacturing, industrial, cement, or FMCG is desirable
- Professional certifications such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or CFA; FP&A or related certifications
- Experience with FP&A IT solutions, ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and data analytics tools
