Business & Performance Analyst
About this role
A role for a highly analytical professional to support Dangote Group’s Sales & Marketing function with business and market insights, performance tracking and strategic recommendations. Suitable for candidates with a strong background in economics, statistics or related fields and several years of relevant experience.
What you would do
- Prepare and analyse daily, weekly, and monthly sales and business performance reports
- Develop dashboards to track key performance indicators such as OTIF, sales forecasts, order books, backlogs and truck residency
- Conduct market and competitor analysis covering market share, trends, customer behaviour, brand perception and satisfaction
- Translate data into actionable insights and recommendations for management
- Identify emerging market opportunities and competitive developments
- Collaborate with Risk Management, SAP, Finance and Sales to support operational and customer requirements
What they are asking for
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Economics, Statistics, Research, Business or related discipline
- 5 to 9 years of relevant professional experience
- Strong knowledge of business analysis, market research and competitive intelligence
- Understanding of macroeconomic and microeconomic trends and their impact on business performance
- Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative research techniques and data analysis tools
- Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and negotiation skills
