About this role

A Business Development and Tendering Executive is sought to drive new business, manage tender opportunities and support contract negotiations in the oil and gas sector, with emphasis on client acquisition and market expansion in Rivers state. The role targets experienced professionals able to handle end-to-end business development activities and collaborate with technical teams.

What you would do

• Identify and pursue new contracts, tenders and business opportunities
• Manage the business development pipeline from prospecting to contract award
• Build and maintain relationships with IOCS, EPC contractors, government agencies and maritime operators
• Prepare and submit tenders, proposals and related commercial documents
• Conduct market research and identify projects, trends and opportunities
• Collaborate with technical and operations teams on commercially viable proposals and support negotiations

What they are asking for

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Business Admin, Marketing, Engineering, Economics, Management or related fields
• 3–5 years’ experience in business development, sales, commercial management or tendering
• Experience in oil and gas, construction, marine/dredging, engineering or equipment leasing industries
• Experience in tendering, prequalification, proposal development and contract acquisition
• Strong industry network and client relationships (advantage)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM/business development tools
