Business Development Specialist

About this role

Felton Energy Services Ltd (FESL) is seeking a Business Development Specialist in Rivers to identify new business opportunities, build strategic relationships and support proposals to drive growth for the organisation. The role requires strong relationship management, communication and commercial skills, with the ability to represent the organisation across various industries and locations.

What you would do

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to support growth objectives.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients, projects and strategic partnerships.
• Generate leads and convert opportunities into business engagements.
• Support the preparation and submission of proposals, tenders, expressions of interest and other business development documentation.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and market trends.
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients; engage with stakeholders, represent the organisation at meetings, conferences, exhibitions and networking events.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering or related field.
• 3-5 years' experience in business development, project sales, marketing, client relations or similar.
• Proven track record in identifying opportunities, building relationships and securing new business.
• Experience in energy, engineering, consulting, construction or project-based sectors preferred.
• Strong business development and client relationship management; excellent verbal and written communication; negotiation, presentation and influencing abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team.
