Business Development Officer (SME Lending)

TrustBanc Group, the asset management arm of its group, focuses on asset management products and client relationship management and acts as a financial adviser on capital-raising projects. They are recruiting a full-time Business Development Officer for SME lending based in Apo, Abuja. The role involves following up on leads and loan applications, maintaining customer records, supporting the BDE team to hit lending targets, generating SME leads, supporting onboarding and collecting loan documents, and promoting SME loan products. The position requires a relevant degree, good organisational skills, ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment, and proficiency with Microsoft Office."

What you would do

• Follow up on leads, loan applications and prospective customers.
• Maintain accurate customer records.
• Support the Business Development team in achieving lending targets.
• Identify and generate leads from prospective SME customers.
• Support customer onboarding and collect required loan documentation.
• Engage prospective customers and promote SME loan products.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum of Second Class Upper (2:1).
• Good organisational and time-management skills.
