Business Development Officer
About this role
A Business Development Officer to drive customer acquisition, revenue growth and business expansion for Grocery Box in Kwara. The role involves generating and converting leads, developing new opportunities, managing customer relationships and driving sales through online and offline channels.
What you would do
- Identify and acquire new customers through direct sales, referrals, field activities and other channels
- Generate, manage and convert sales leads into paying customers
- Drive sales of Grocery Box products across online and offline channels
- Identify and secure corporate, wholesale and bulk-order customers
- Build and maintain relationships with existing customers to drive repeat purchases
- Prepare regular sales reports on revenue, leads, conversions and pipeline and pursue new business opportunities
What they are asking for
- BSc or HND in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics or related field
- 2 to 3 years of proven sales or business development experience in FMCG, retail, distribution or related industry
- Strong understanding of FMCG sales and distribution channels
- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship management skills
- Strong customer acquisition and conversion skills
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and sales reporting tools
