Business Development Manager – Packaging Materials

About this role

Business Development Manager for packaging materials based in Lagos. The role targets professionals with a proven B2B sales record who can win orders from manufacturing companies, factories or government/institutional clients and build a pipeline for packaging materials and related products.

What you would do

• Identify and develop new business opportunities with manufacturing companies, factories, government institutions and other corporate clients.
• Generate and secure orders for packaging materials and related products.
• Build and maintain relationships with key clients and decision-makers.
• Conduct client visits, presentations and negotiations, with follow-ups to convert prospects into customers.
• Manage the sales process from lead generation to order confirmation, including follow-ups on quotations and contracts.
• Maintain records of prospects, clients, opportunities and sales activities and develop a strong pipeline of prospective customers.

• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in B2B sales, business development, packaging sales or closely related field.
• Proven track record of securing orders/business from manufacturing companies, factories, corporate organisations and/or government institutions.

• Ability to work independently and actively pursue business opportunities.
• Based in or willing to work in Lagos.
