Business Development Manager
About this role
Debyl Limited, an indigenous Nigerian oil and gas services contractor based in Rivers, is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth in the sector. The role involves identifying new business opportunities across upstream, midstream and downstream operations and building relationships with IOCs, NOCs and key stakeholders. The successful candidate will lead tendering, proposal development and contract negotiations.
What you would do
- Identify and secure new business opportunities across upstream, midstream and downstream operations
- Build and maintain relationships with IOCs, NOCs, and key industry stakeholders
- Lead tendering, proposal development and contract negotiations
- Monitor industry trends, regulations, and competitor activities to inform strategy
- Represent the company at industry events to strengthen brand visibility

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related field (MBA is an advantage)
- 7 - 10 years' proven experience in business development within the oil and gas sector
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian oil and gas regulations and local content requirements
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and networking skills
- Track record of securing contracts with major industry players
