About this role
A Business Development Manager for Narimera Intelligence, based in Lagos, is responsible for building and managing the Nigeria-facing pipeline, converting opportunities into paid feasibility assessments for infrastructure projects. The role involves end-to-end deal ownership from initial contact to payment, with collaboration across a small team and direct interaction with the CEO.
What you would do
- Build a Nigeria-focused pipeline across developers, DFIs, funds, agri-finance and government programmes
- Lead discovery, demonstrations, proposals, negotiations and contract closure
- Convert partner platforms and institutional programmes into paying accounts
- Coordinate technical input for tenders and funding calls
- Maintain CRM records and deliver weekly pipeline and revenue forecasts
- Develop sales materials and feed buyer feedback to product and communications teams
What they are asking for
- 4 to 8 years of experience in B2B sales or business development
- Experience closing institutional deals with payment
- Access to Nigerian institutional buyers and knowledge of partner-platform and programme sales
- Feasibility analysis translation into investment decisions and proposal writing
- Pipeline management and weekly revenue forecasting
- Experience in CRM and coordinating complex bids or proposals
