Business Development Manager

Strivo Labs in Lagos is seeking a field-based Business Development Manager who will own the end-to-end process of acquiring new business. The role focuses on pursuing opportunities with architects, developers, contractors, and corporate or residential clients, with responsibility to close deals and lay groundwork for a growing sales team.

What you would do

• Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities across architects, developers, contractors, corporate and residential clients.
• Oversee the sales process from prospecting to closing with minimal supervision.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, referral partners, and industry stakeholders.
• Represent the company at site visits, client meetings, and industry events (field-based work).
• Track the sales pipeline and activity, reporting progress against targets.
• Lay the foundation for a future sales team by developing processes and structure as the business grows.

• 5-10 years' experience in sales, business development, or a related field.
