Business Development Executive (Laboratory)
About this role
A full‑time Business Development Executive (Laboratory) role based in Ikeja, Lagos, focusing on selling laboratory testing and analysis services and developing new client relationships for a science and laboratory equipment supplier. The position targets candidates with proven BD or technical sales experience in laboratory services and related fields.
What you would do
- Monitor sales performance and business opportunities
- Prepare and negotiate quotations, proposals, contracts and terms
- Participate in client meetings, presentations, events and tenders
- Drive client retention, account growth, cross-selling and upselling
- Develop and convert new business opportunities and maintain sales pipeline
- Build long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients

- Bachelor’s degree (minimum second class upper) in a science or related field
- 3–5 years of proven experience in business development, technical sales, laboratory services or related roles
- Strong communication, negotiation, analytical and problem‑solving skills

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong report writing skills
