Business Development Executive – Cargo Logistics

What you would do

• Achieve monthly revenue targets across logistics service lines.
• Identify, profile, prospect, and onboard at least three new clients each month.
• Make at least eight productive sales calls per day to prospects and existing customers.
• Develop and maintain profitable relationships with clients.
• Identify opportunities within cargo logistics, freight forwarding, shipping and aviation logistics sectors.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries and service requests to maintain high satisfaction.
• Maintain up-to-date client and prospect records and sales pipeline information.
• Prepare and submit weekly and monthly sales activity reports.
• Reconcile client statements with accounts team monthly.
• Coordinate with operations and service providers to ensure timely service delivery and address complaints.

• Minimum first degree or HND in Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, Social Sciences, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, or related discipline.
• At least four years of proven experience in sales, business development, or related fields.
• Experience in B2B sales, client acquisition, prospecting, account management, and revenue generation.
• Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Experience in logistics, shipping, freight forwarding, air cargo, or related industry is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with air freight logistics and cargo coordination is an advantage.
• Experience with airlines, air cargo operators, freight agents, or aviation logistics service providers is an added advantage.
