Business Development Executive

About this role

This is a full-time Business Development Executive role in Ikeja, Lagos for Katchey Company Limited. The role involves developing new customer relationships and maintaining existing ones to support sales, marketing and company growth. Salary is N200,000 monthly.

What you would do

• Prepare and monitor the marketing plan for associates in collaboration with the Business Development Manager.
• Sell consultatively and present the company's solutions to prospects and customers.
• Compile and review databases of qualified leads.
• Create and deliver proposal presentations and RFQ responses that address prospects' business problems with the company's solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities within the assigned area.
• Escalate unresolved issues to the Line Manager.

What they are asking for

• Bachelor’s degree (minimum of second class upper) in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Genetics, Microbiology, Industrial Chemistry or Science Lab Technology.
• 0–2 years relevant work experience in sales/marketing of laboratory equipment and reagents.
• Experience in a laboratory environment (analyst or laboratory technologist) or sales/technical support for science and laboratory equipment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive, adaptable and solution-oriented with the ability to multitask and learn quickly.
