Business Development Executive
About this role
A full-time Business Development Executive role based in Ikeja, Lagos, focusing on building and maintaining customer relationships, supporting sales and marketing activities, and driving growth for laboratory equipment and reagents. Open to candidates with up to 2 years of relevant experience and a science or lab-related degree.
What you would do
- Maintain records of all sales and prospecting activities within the assigned area
- Prepare and monitor the implementation of the marketing plan with the Business Development Manager
- Escalate unresolved issues to the Line Manager
- Propose and organise major prospecting activities such as seminars when approved
- Create and deliver proposals and RFQ responses detailing client problems and company solutions
- Deputise for the Business Development Manager and collate databases of qualified leads

- Bachelor’s degree (minimum Second Class Upper) in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotech, Genetics, Microbiology, Industrial Chemistry, Science Lab Technology
- 0 to 2 years of relevant work experience in sales/technical support for science and laboratory equipment
- Experience in laboratory environments or sales/marketing of laboratory equipment and reagents (cognate)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard computer applications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive, adaptable, detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and learn quickly
