Business Development Executive
About this role
A Business Development Executive is sought to drive client acquisition, business growth and revenue for a Lagos-based HR consulting firm. The role targets proactive individuals who can identify opportunities, generate and convert leads, and build relationships with corporate clients.
What you would do
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across target markets
- Develop and execute strategies to achieve client acquisition and revenue targets
- Generate qualified leads via cold calling, LinkedIn, networking, referrals, events and research
- Conduct prospecting and build relationships with potential clients
- Arrange and conduct client meetings, pitches, and service demonstrations
- Prepare tailored proposals and negotiate terms to close new business opportunities and manage the sales cycle

- Bachelor's degree in Business-related field or related discipline
- 2 to 3 years of proven experience in business development, B2B sales or related role
- Experience selling services to businesses or corporate clients
- Track record of lead generation, client acquisition, sales conversion and revenue generation

- Proficiency in CRM, LinkedIn and Microsoft Office; ability to engage with senior decision-makers
