Business Development Executive
About this role
A Business Development Executive is sought to drive growth, generate new clients and expand the firm’s market presence, with a focus on the insurance sector. The role targets candidates who are confident, proactive and target-driven, and based in Abuja or willing to relocate.
What you would do
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the insurance market
- Generate leads and convert prospects into clients
- Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients
- Promote the company’s insurance products and services to potential customers
- Conduct sales presentations and client meetings
- Maintain records and prepare regular sales and business development reports

- HND or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Insurance, Economics or a related field
- 2 to 3 years of experience in business development, sales or marketing, preferably in insurance
- Strong understanding of sales and client acquisition strategies
- Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation and relationship-management skills
- Proven ability to generate leads and close business
- Strong networking and interpersonal skills
