The Bursar at ADCOTIES, Gulak in Adamawa, is the college's Chief Financial Officer and head of the Bursary Department. What you would do
- Oversee day-to-day management, control, accounting and reporting of all college financial resources.
- Coordinate the preparation and implementation of the annual budget.
- Coordinate collection of all revenues, including IGR, and maintain books of account and assets register.
- Ensure safekeeping and disbursement of funds and prepare periodic financial statements; liaise with internal and external auditors.
- Ensure compliance with the Procurement Act and Financial Regulations.
- Advise the Rector and Council on financial matters and enforce financial discipline and internal controls.

- Good honours degree or HND (minimum Second Class Lower) in Accountancy or Finance from a recognised institution.
- Recognised professional accounting qualifications (e.g., ICAN, ANAN).
- Minimum 15 years post-qualification cognate experience in a tertiary institution.
- Must have held the rank of Deputy Bursar or equivalent for at least 3 years.
- Age not above 60 at the time of assumption.
- Good physical and mental health; basic ICT skills; morally sound with impeccable character and not likely to pursue sectional interests.
