BSS Integration Engineer
About this role
A role for an Integration Engineer to analyse, prepare and verify configuration and integration of BSS, OSS, cloud and telecom environments. It involves handling new product introductions, upgrades, migrations and working with customer legacy systems in a Lagos context.
What you would do
- Provide post-project technical support and follow-up activities
- Develop and drive continuous improvements throughout the delivery lifecycle
- Apply end-to-end technical understanding across BSS, OSS, cloud and telecom environments
- Support pre-sales activities, including technical pre-studies and solution assessments
- Prepare and execute system, module and acceptance testing
- Implement product configuration and complete integration and migration activities
What they are asking for
- Understanding of 2G/3G/4G/5G mobile technologies, VoLTE and IMS in relation to BSS/OSS architectures
- Familiarity with ML and GenAI tools (e.g., Amazon Bedrock, Copilot, Claude) or similar platforms
- Experience with automation and DevOps tools (GitOps, Rosetta, Ansible) or similar
- Knowledge of BSS infrastructure and telecom service provider environments
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Engineering, IT, Telecommunications, CS, Computer Science, or related field
- 3–5 years of telecom vendor or operator experience, preferably with BSS or cloud software systems and data analytics
