What you would do
- Manage branch operations and ensure achievement of business targets
- Drive deposit mobilisation and revenue growth for the branch
- Oversee customer acquisition and retention efforts
- Ensure branch profitability and financial performance tracking
- Lead and develop branch staff to improve performance
- Implement internal controls, risk management, and regulatory compliance at the branch
- Monitor and report on branch performance metrics
- Collaborate with other departments to support client needs
- Maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders
- Support audit processes and ensure adherence to policies
What they are asking for
- BSc in Banking and Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or related field
- 8 to 10 years of relevant banking or financial services experience
- At least 5 years in a senior management role (eg Branch Manager, Area Manager, Regional Manager, or Zonal Operations Manager)
- Proven track record in deposit mobilisation, revenue growth, customer acquisition, branch profitability, and team performance management
- Strong knowledge of banking operations, credit and operational risk, internal controls, audit, and regulatory compliance
- History of delivering business targets and improving branch performance
- Additional advantage: Master’s degree and professional certifications from CIBN, ICAN, ACCA, CFA or similar bodies
