SIMS Nigeria Limited is recruiting a Branch Manager for its Ibadan, Oyo branch. The role involves managing overall branch operations, driving sales and profitability, leading staff, and ensuring customer service and compliance with policies and regulations. The position requires overseeing Sales, Finance, Inventory, Customer Experience and People Management to achieve organizational objectives. The candidate should have extensive experience in branch operations or retail management and a track record of meeting sales and performance targets.

What you would do

• Oversee day-to-day branch operations to ensure efficiency, productivity and profitability
• Develop and implement sales strategies to hit revenue and market share targets
• Drive customer acquisition, retention and business development within the branch area
• Coach and motivate branch staff to achieve performance objectives
• Monitor sales activity and branch metrics and take corrective actions as needed
• Resolve customer complaints and inquiries to ensure exceptional service
• Manage cash, inventory, stock accuracy and safeguarding of assets
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
• Monitor expenses and manage costs to maximise profitability
• Prepare and submit regular operational and management reports

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, Accounting, Finance or related field
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in branch operations, retail management or sales
• Strong leadership, people management and decision-making skills
• Proven ability to achieve sales, profitability and operational targets
• Knowledge of branch operations, inventory control, financial controls and customer service
• Strong business development, negotiation and relationship management skills
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and organisational abilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to lead teams
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems (e.g., Odoo, SAP) is an advantage
• High integrity, accountability and attention to detail; ability to work under pressure
