Bottling Plant Supervisor
About this role
Stockgap Fuels Limited is hiring a Bottling Plant Supervisor to oversee daily LPG cylinder filling, quality checks, storage and dispatch at the Abuja bottling plant. The role leads a team of seven operators and aims to meet daily throughput and safety targets. The company operates in the downstream petroleum sector with LPG bottling facilities in multiple regions. The position is full-time and senior in nature within the Bottling Operations & Production area.
What you would do
- Supervise shift filling lines and enforce fill-by-weight rules (max 85% by volume).
- Coordinate check-weighing, valve integrity testing, leak detection and quarantine of defective cylinders.
- Manage operator shift rosters and monitor line downtime.
- Submit daily bottling and dispatch statements.
- Collaborate with Maintenance and EHS teams on calibration windows and safety toolbox talks.
What they are asking for
- Minimum 5–8 years’ experience in LPG bottling/filling or process plant operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND (2nd Class Upper / Upper Credit) in Engineering or related discipline.
