Bored Pile Rig Trainer
About this role
A Bored Pile Rig Trainer is needed to train and develop rig operators and piling personnel in bored piling operations, safety, maintenance, and productivity. The role targets experienced trainers or supervisors with a strong mechanical or civil engineering background for work with Jite Projekts Limited in Lagos on a contract/full-time basis.
What you would do
- Train operators on Kelly drilling, CFA piling, temporary casing and related piling operations
- Develop and implement operator competency assessments
- Support mobilisation and commissioning of new piling rigs
- Conduct practical and theoretical training on bored piling rig operation
- Monitor performance and propose improvement plans
- Develop SOPs and training manuals for piling equipment and provide refresher training
What they are asking for
- Minimum OND, HND, BSc or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Technical Training or related discipline
- Minimum 10 years of practical experience operating and/or supervising bored piling rigs
- Strong knowledge of piling operations, geotechnical works and foundation construction techniques
- Experience with piling equipment such as Rotary Drilling Rigs, SR Series, Soilmec, CFA, Bauer, XCMG rigs
- Previous experience as a trainer, instructor, supervisor or equipment specialist is an advantage
- Competencies in site operations management, training, leadership, technical reporting, HSE, and communication
