About this role
A full-time Bookkeeper position in Lagos for candidates with accounting or finance training and prior bookkeeping experience. The role supports the Accountant and management with accurate records, reconciliations and financial reporting support.
What you would do
- Support the Accountant and management
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping records and prepare schedules for financial reporting
- Prepare transaction summaries and supporting schedules
- Assist with reconciliations, audits and financial reviews
- Provide information and documents to resolve discrepancies
- Carry out other bookkeeping duties as assigned
What they are asking for
- HND or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- 1 to 3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Experience in a trading or inventory-based business is an advantage
- Good knowledge of basic bookkeeping principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Experience handling high-volume daily transactions is an advantage
