Billing and Accounts Receivable Supervisor

What you would do

• Lead a team of Credit Control Officers
• Formulate and implement the company’s credit policy
• Review credit applications and references to set credit limits
• Prepare journal entries and credit notes; assist with month-end activities
• Monitor and report on aged debtors
• Negotiate terms with third party debt collection agencies
• Manage write-offs, bad debt provisions and payment plans
• Support the broader accounts team
• Regularly review processes to reduce debtor days
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to resolve receivables issues

• At least 5 years of experience in credit and receivables and accounting
• Experience in end-to-end billing and accounts receivable processes
• Staff management experience
• Knowledge of credit law or related regulations

• Intermediate skills in Excel and accounting software
• Experience in accounting and reconciliation
