Billing / Account Receivable Officer

About this role

A Billing / Account Receivable Officer handles recovering amounts owed by customers and supports timely invoice payments to aid cash flow. The role reports to the Credit Control Supervisor and is based in Lagos (Lekki Phase 1).

What you would do

• Chase overdue payments by phone, email, and visits
• Issue invoices
• Resolve customer accounting queries and issues
• Set credit limits and reconcile payments to customer accounts
• Resolve incorrect payments and identify clients exceeding credit limits for disconnection
• Escalate problem customers to senior management and assist with WHT recovery
