Bilingual (FR/ENG) Associate – Product Management
About this role
Beacon Power Services is recruiting a Bilingual (French/English) Associate in Product Management in Lagos. The role involves gathering and analysing user, operational, and market data, translating business needs into product requirements, and supporting the delivery and deployment of software solutions for utilities across Africa. You will work with Engineering, Commercial, Strategy and Operations to coordinate requirements, assist with testing and release readiness, and provide insights to inform roadmap priorities and continuous product improvement. The role spans product strategy, definition, delivery and deployment execution for an assigned module. Experience with SaaS or enterprise software and Agile methodologies is expected, along with French language fluency.
What you would do
- Conduct user and market research and gather client feedback.
- Organise and summarise research findings and user requests.
- Contribute inputs for roadmap planning of an assigned module.
- Define requirements, user stories, workflows, and acceptance criteria.
- Coordinate with Design, Engineering, QA and internal tech teams to clarify requirements.
- Review delivered features and support release readiness.
- Maintain product documentation for requirements and changes.
- Answer simple product questions during deployments and clarify workflows.
- Track deployment issues and follow up with Engineering and tech teams.
- Document deployment feedback and opportunities for product improvement.

- Experience or exposure to product management or related function in SaaS, enterprise software or technology.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Ability to translate user and business needs into clear product requirements.
- Comfort using research, user feedback and data to inform product decisions.
- Technical fluency to engage with Engineering and internal Tech teams.
- Fluency in French.
