Bidding & Tendering Lead
About this role
The Bidding & Tendering Lead will manage the end-to-end bidding and tendering process for RoadLamp Limited in Port Harcourt, Rivers, coordinating inputs from multiple departments and reporting to the managing director as technical assistant. The role targets an experienced professional with strong technical, commercial, analytical and coordination capabilities in bid management within the oil and gas sector.
What you would do
- Lead the end-to-end bidding and tendering process for prospective projects and opportunities
- Review invitations to tender, RFQs, RFPs and other tender documentation
- Coordinate the preparation of technical and commercial tender submissions
- Develop and maintain tender schedules to ensure timely completion and submission
- Coordinate inputs from engineering, project execution, procurement, finance, HSE and other relevant departments
- Identify gaps, ambiguities, risks in tender documents and escalate appropriately
What they are asking for
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related engineering discipline
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in bidding, tendering or proposal management
- Experience in bidding, tender preparation and proposal management within Oil & Gas, EPC, EPCIC or related industries is advantageous
- Experience with tendering platforms such as ARIBA is advantageous
- Demonstrable ability to coordinate multidisciplinary tender inputs
- Strong written and verbal communication, analytical, organisational and negotiation skills; able to work under pressure
