Bid / Tender Officer
About this role
A Bid / Tender Officer coordinates the end-to-end bid and tender process, including reviewing requirements, preparing submissions and managing electronic tender platforms. It is suitable for professionals with experience in bid/tender management, ideally in oil and gas or engineering sectors. The role requires collaboration with multiple departments to prepare technical and commercial bids.
What you would do
- Identify tender opportunities and monitor deadlines
- Review tender documents and submission requirements
- Coordinate the bid process from receipt to submission
- Prepare and quality-check technical, commercial and administrative bid docs
- Coordinate inputs from Engineering, Procurement, Projects and Finance
- Manage NIPEX portal activities and maintain bid trackers
What they are asking for
- Degree or HND in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, Procurement or related field
- 3–5 years of bid/tender management experience
- Experience preparing and submitting technical and commercial bids
- Hands-on NIPEX portal experience preferred
- Understanding of oil and gas tendering and procurement processes
- Ability to coordinate inputs from multiple departments under tight deadlines
