Bid Proposal Associate

About this role

PwC Nigeria is seeking a Bid Proposal Associate in Lagos to support the Pursuit and Proposals function within the Clients and Market Development unit. The role involves collaborating across service lines to develop proposals and pitches for private clients, government bodies, NGOs and international institutions. You will help define win themes, write and edit content, conduct market and competitor analysis, and ensure brand consistency across documents. You will also manage proposal materials, promote best practices, and train staff on pursuit tools. The position targets candidates with proposal writing experience and good stakeholder management skills, able to work under pressure.

What you would do

• Co-create and implement pursuit strategies aligned with firm growth objectives
• Write, review and edit proposal content for clarity, compliance and persuasiveness
• Collaborate with client teams to define proposal win-themes and strategies
• Conduct market and competitor analysis to inform proposals and improve processes
• Maintain brand standards and ensure accuracy across proposal documents
• Manage a central repository of proposals and promote best practices in proposal management
• Promote and train others on pursuit and proposal tools within the firm

What they are asking for

• Bachelor's degree (Second Class Upper) in any discipline
• APMP certification is an advantage
• Minimum 3 years' experience in proposal writing and bid management
• Experience in public sector bidding
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel
• Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
