Bid and Tender Officer

About this role

The Bid & Tender Officer role is for candidates with experience in bidding and tendering, preferably in oil and gas, to support preparation, coordination and submission of bids and tenders in Nigeria. The position is based in Lagos and targets individuals who can manage documents, cross-functional coordination and timely submissions.

What you would do

• Identify and review tender opportunities
• Prepare and submit bids via NIPEX and other portals
• Create bid checklists, responsibility matrices and tender trackers
• Support submissions through SAP Ariba, SMART GEP and similar platforms
• Maintain records of submitted bids and documents
• Coordinate documents from Engineering, Finance, HSE, Procurement and other departments

What they are asking for

• 2-3 years of bidding, tendering or proposal preparation experience, preferably in Oil & Gas/EPC
• Strong attention to detail, communication, organisation and follow-up skills
• Bachelor's degree or HND in Engineering, Sciences, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or related field
• Familiarity with NIPEX and e-procurement platforms is an advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
