Base Engineer
About this role
Base Engineer needed in Port Harcourt to oversee the operational base, equipment maintenance, workshop activities and logistics support for offshore operations. The role suits experienced engineers with strong maintenance and project coordination background in oil, gas, marine or subsea settings.
What you would do
- Plan, schedule, coordinate and monitor engineering projects.
- Collaborate with project managers, senior engineers and project participants to improve methods and profitability.
- Quality control on budgets, schedules, plans and personnel performance; report project status.
- Develop work procedures and plans for projects and ensure timely delivery.
- Raise requisitions for project spares and liaise with base administration to raise and follow up purchase orders.
- Maintain operation logs and produce monthly reports on equipment performance.
What they are asking for
- Age 35 years and above.
- Professional certification such as COREN or HSE Level 3 is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of HSE standards and equipment certification.
- BEng or HND in Mechanical, Electrical, Marine Engineering or related field.
- Residence in Port Harcourt.
- Ability to troubleshoot and lead a technical team.
