What you would do

• Assist customers with deposits, withdrawals and payments
• Accept cash and checks and verify deposit slips for accuracy
• Process cash withdrawals and prepare cashier's checks, money orders, traveller's checks and currency exchanges
• Handle tasks such as ordering bank cards and checks for customers
• Receive and verify loan, mortgage and utility bill payments
• Record transactions accurately and in compliance with procedures
• Balance cash, currency and checks in the cash drawer at end of shift
• Answer inquiries about checking and savings accounts and related services
• Explain and promote bank products and services to customers
• Resolve customer account issues and ensure internal controls are followed
