B2C Community Manager
About this role
A remote B2C Community Manager role for a Nigerian-based fintech startup. The position involves managing and growing the company’s online community across X, Telegram, Instagram and TikTok, and feeding community input to product, support and marketing teams.
What you would do
- Manage day-to-day engagement on X, Telegram, Instagram and TikTok
- Keep conversations active and engaging within the community
- Identify trends, memes and cultural moments and create timely content
- Monitor sentiment and route feedback to the appropriate teams
- Plan and run community activations, campaigns and giveaways
- Collaborate with football-related content and activations with Tonic FC and translate community feedback into clear inputs for product, support and marketing
What they are asking for
- Degree or HND in Mass Communication, Marketing, English or related field preferred but not required
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in fintech, community, social media or similar role
- Experience growing a community from posting to engaged participation
- Experience with football fan communities or high-energy online communities is a plus
- Sharp writing with a sense of humour and understanding of online community behaviour on X, Telegram, Instagram and TikTok
- Must be Nigerian, able to work remotely and independently
