About this role
An Auto Electrician role with the Dangote Group in Adamawa, focused on electrical maintenance, diagnostics, troubleshooting, repair and preventive maintenance for tractors, harvesters, loaders, heavy‑duty equipment and support vehicles. It targets candidates with an OND in electrical/electronic engineering or mechatronics and at least three years of relevant experience.
What you would do
- Plan and supervise electrical maintenance activities for tractors, harvesters, loaders, heavy‑duty equipment and fleet vehicles.
- Coordinate electrical troubleshooting and diagnostics to identify and fix faults.
- Develop preventive maintenance schedules for electrical systems including charging, lighting, sensors, wiring harnesses and electronic control systems.
- Coordinate with Stores and Procurement to ensure availability of electrical spare parts and accessories.
- Monitor repair quality and ensure repairs are completed correctly at first attempt to prevent repeat failures.
- Review maintenance records and technical reports to analyse recurring electrical faults and recommend corrective actions.
