Audit Specialist
About this role
An Audit Specialist at Dangote in Lagos will lead and support financial and operational audits to assure compliance, risk management effectiveness, and strong internal controls. What you would do
- Support the development and monitoring of the Financial & Operational Audit Plan
- Lead and manage audit analysts to perform financial and operational audits
- Ensure adherence to audit procedures and documentation standards
- Evaluate financial records and create risk-based audit programs
- Review and validate audit reports and make recommendations to improve internal controls
- Communicate findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders
What they are asking for
- BSc or HND in accounting or related field
- Master's degree in accounting or MBA is an advantage
- Professional membership: CIA, ICAN, ACCA or CPA
- Minimum 7 years of financial and operational audit experience
- Experience with large organisations or multinational environments considered an advantage
- Knowledge of IFRS, ICFR, SAP and internal control practices
