Audit Manager – IT (IT, Compliance, Finance & Organizational Audit)

About this role

An Audit Manager – IT is needed in Lagos to conduct independent audits across IT, financial operations, compliance and organisational processes, assess internal controls and ensure regulatory and policy compliance. The role targets candidates with extensive audit experience in banking or financial services and knowledge of IT controls.

What you would do

• Conduct operational, financial, IT, compliance, procurement, HR and process audits according to the audit plan
• Review financial records, transactions, procurement activities and operations for accuracy and compliance
• Perform IT audits covering application controls, infrastructure, cybersecurity, access management, data protection, backups and disaster recovery
• Evaluate compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements and industry standards
• Document audit observations, prepare reports and present findings to the Audit Manager
• Follow up on audit findings and ensure corrective actions are implemented within agreed timelines

What they are asking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, IT, Computer Science, Risk Management or a related field
• Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, CIA, CISA, CFE, CRISC, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor or equivalent (added advantage)
• 6–10 years of experience in Internal Audit, External Audit, IT Audit, Compliance, Risk Management or Finance
• Experience conducting audits across financial, operational, IT and compliance functions
• Exposure to FinTech, Banking, Financial Services, ERP or Software Development environments (desirable)
• Experience working with ERP systems, databases and audit documentation tools
