Audit Manager

About this role

A Kaduna based Audit Manager role for Nexia Agbo Abel & Co., a Nigerian-owned firm, responsible for leading multiple audit engagements, coaching staff and helping grow the client base. The position targets experienced chartered accountants with strong audit expertise.

What you would do

• Lead and manage multiple audit engagements to deliver quality services.
• Collaborate with Head of Department and Partner in Charge to coordinate audits.
• Prepare proposals and work with business development on new engagements.
• Achieve revenue targets for the department.
• Train junior staff and build capacity through technical sessions.
• Supervise engagements, review work, and issue timely reports.

What they are asking for

• Degree or Higher National Diploma in accounting, economics, finance or related field.
• 7 years post-qualification experience.
• Membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria or equivalent.
• Proven ability to handle at least 7 Category A clients for 2 consecutive years.
• Strong understanding of accounting and auditing standards.
• Excellent communication, written and presentation skills.
