Audio Visual Technician

What you would do

• Install, configure and commission AV equipment at client locations such as offices, showrooms and service centres
• Test and calibrate AV systems after installation
• Diagnose faults and perform repairs or component replacements following approved procedures
• Perform preventive maintenance and keep accurate servicing records
• Provide technical support and guidance to customers, sales teams and other departments
• Handle service requests and warranty issues and ensure repairs are completed within the approved turnaround time with verification before release

• OND/HND/BSc in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications or related technical field
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in AV installation, electronics repair, technical support or related role
• Good knowledge of audio and visual equipment including TVs, projectors, speakers, amplifiers, microphones and display systems
• Ability to diagnose electrical/electronic faults using appropriate testing equipment; basic knowledge of cabling, connectors, signal flow, HDMI, USB, Bluetooth, Wi‑Fi and other AV interfaces
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills; ability to read basic technical diagrams and equipment specifications
• Good communication and customer-service skills; ability to work independently and as part of a technical team; willingness to travel to customer locations
