Associate / Senior Associate, Q&RM (Lawyer)
About this role
Role is for an Associate or Senior Associate in Q&RM (Lawyer) at KPMG in Lagos. It requires a lawyer trained in a mid- to top-tier commercial firm with experience in both dispute resolution and corporate-commercial advisory, plus exposure to investigations, regulatory matters, contract drafting and risk advisory. What you would do
- Manage assigned workstreams with supervision, escalating issues when necessary
- Draft and review contracts and other legal documents
- Conduct legal research and draft opinions and risk advisories
- Assist with investigations, regulatory matters, disputes and corporate-commercial advisory work
- Collaborate with clients, regulators, senior management and external advisers within a structured team
- Support adherence to internal review processes and stakeholder requirements
What they are asking for
- First degree in Law with Upper Second Class (2:1) or better
- Law School class of degree Upper Second Class (2:1) or better
- For Associate: minimum three years post-call experience
- For Senior Associate: minimum four years post-call experience
- Experience across dispute resolution and corporate-commercial advisory work
- Experience working in structured teams with multiple stakeholders and regular client interaction
