About this role
Role: Associate, Process Auditor at Tetra Maritime in Lagos. What you would do
- Design and execute a risk-based annual and monthly process audit plan across all departments and international branches.
- Conduct desk reviews and on-site walkthroughs of core operational workflows to verify they function as designed.
- Assess process design quality, embedded controls, data flows, handoffs, and turnaround times.
- Test operational compliance against SOPs, governance policies, SLAs, and KPIs.
- Identify bottlenecks, redundancies, manual workarounds, single points of failure, and control weaknesses.
- Develop corrective action plans with department heads and monitor implementation and effectiveness.

- University degree in any discipline with a strong foundation in analytical, technical, business, or operational fields.
- Minimum of 4 to 6 years of professional experience in process auditing, internal audit, BPM, quality assurance, or operational risk management in a structured corporate environment.
- Preferred certifications such as CIA, Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, CBPP, or ISO 9001 Lead Auditor are advantageous.
- Strong analytical ability to dissect complex operational workflows and identify root causes across multiple departments.
- Proficiency with process mapping tools (Visio, Lucidchart, Bizagi) and knowledge of internal control frameworks (COSO) and risk assessment methodologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to present findings clearly, maintaining discretion and objectivity.
